ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
A candidate seeking for postgraduate admission in Nasarawa State University, Keffi must fulfill the following requirements;
- Five O’level credits passed in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE (o’ level) or their equivalent, including English language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
- National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge Certificate or letter of Exemption.
NOTE: When coming for registration, all prospective and transfer students should come with their credentials, including their certificates/degrees (first or/and second degree).
Admission into the Postgraduate Diploma degree programme is opened to graduates of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi or any other approved University with with a Third Class or a Pass in degree of Bachelor in any discipline and candidates holding the Higher National Diploma with upper credit are also eligible for admission.

In addition, Ph.D Candidates should have a copy of their official transcripts sent (from the tertiary institutions they graduated from) to Nasarawa State University, Keffi using the email: pgschool@nsuk.edu.ng
PLAGARISM
All students are expected to run their project work through the Standard plagiarism test format set by the university by sending their work in a docx format to the email: plagarism@nsuk.edu.ng and await a feedback mail for collection of test results.
REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTITUTE OF GOVERNANCE AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES
Masters in Organizational Development Studies
Holders of first degree in Sociology, Psychology, Public and Business Administration and relevant discipline from Nasarawa State University Keffi or any other recognised University with a minimum of second-class honours. A candidate having lower than second class honours degree or HND may be considered if he/she has a good relevant postgraduate diploma with a reasonable number of years’ experience.
In addition, candidates must possess a minimum of five credits including mathematics and English language in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO or equivalent as approved by the Board of the School of Postgraduate Studies and the Senate.
Masters in Advocacy Studies
Holders of first degree in Sociology, Psychology, Public and Business Administration and other relevant discipline from Nasarawa State University Keffi or any other recognised University with a minimum of second-class honours. A candidate having lower than second class honours degree or HND may be considered if he/she has a good relevant postgraduate diploma with a reasonable number of years’ experience.

PGD Organizational Development Studies
Holders of first degree with in Sociology, Psychology, Public and Business Administration and other relevant discipline from Nasarawa State University Keffi or any other recognised University with a minimum of Third Class. A candidate having HND in relevant fields may be considered if he/she has a good relevant reasonable number of years’ experience.
In addition, candidates must possess a minimum of five credits including mathematics and English language in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO or equivalent as approved by the Board of the School of Postgraduate Studies and the Senate.
PGD Advocacy Studies
Holders of first degree with in Sociology, Psychology, Public and Business Administration and other relevant disciplines from Nasarawa State University Keffi or any other recognised University with a minimum of Third Class. A candidate having HND in relevant fields may be considered if he/she has a good relevant reasonable number of years’ experience.

TUITION FEE & COSTS
Your tuition fees will cover the cost of your postgraduate research programme at the University as well as charges for registration, tuition, supervision, examinations and graduation.
Payment of fees will also entitle you to membership of the Library, and Students’ Union and ID cards.
Please note:
Some programmes incur higher expenditure than others and it is, therefore, important that you check the schedule of tuition fees for your chosen programme.
