SPGS Delegation Congratulates Former Dean, Professor Maikano Muhammad Ari, on His Appointment as DVC (Academic) and SPGS Board Chairman
A delegation of staff from the School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS), Nasarawa State University, Keffi, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Maikano Muhammad Ari, on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025.
The visit was to congratulate Professor Ari on his well-deserved appointment as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Chairman of the SPGS Board. Professor Ari, who previously served as the Dean of the Postgraduate School, was celebrated for his remarkable achievements and leadership contributions to the University.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the current Dean of the Postgraduate School, Professor Abdullahi Adamu Sulaiman, expressed delight over Professor Ari’s accomplishments and assured him of the board’s full support and collaboration towards the continued development of the University.
In his response, Professor Ari expressed gratitude to the SPGS team for their visit and to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, for her unwavering commitment to the growth of the institution. He commended the Dean for his ongoing efforts to raise the academic standards of the school, describing SPGS as a “focal point of the University” that must be managed with excellence and care. He further encouraged the board members to remain dedicated and to continue serving as ambassadors of NSUK’s academic growth and development.
